BEWARE OF NON-VALID PROGRAMS
There are providers on the market announcing that EP programs registered in the Eptis database continue to be accepted without exception, but we believe some clarifications are important in this regard:
NIT DICLA 26 revision 11 determines that all PE must be carried out by institutions recognized as an accredited PE Provider for the scope (item 10.1) – since January 2018.
Item 10.2 describes the possibility of participating in programs coordinated by other providers (such as registered in Eptis), when: (item a) “if it proves that there were no available and appropriate PE activities, organized by the providers mentioned in 10.1 within the range of time established in your PE participation plan”.
Remember that item 9.1.1 describes that the “unavailability” of EP activities or the valid reasons that, in exceptional cases, made participation unfeasible, such as limited places, and execution deadlines, must be highlighted.
Aiming to ensure the possibility of meeting the accredited scope, QLM Proficiência seeks to maintain a 4-year schedule, in addition to carrying out On Demand (SD) programs at any time for any accredited item at a fair cost.
As during an evaluation carried out by Cgcre such programs should not be accepted, QLM Proficiency has the following policies (in calibration):
1 – Do not open a program that we are not accredited with, if there is already an accredited provider for the artifact;
2 – When receiving an on-demand EP request for an item, as per item 1, inform the applicant of these rules and that they should first look for these accredited providers (after this, the applicant will have the option to undertake the program with us or not);
3 – Carry out On-Demand programs for our entire accredited scope so that our clients can comply with the policies of NIT DICLA 026 at any time. If you have any doubts about this, we recommend that you consult your Accreditation Manager (GA) for clarification.
